About Justin and James

Hi, I am Justin and together with my mate James we have had some extraordinary experiences in paddle craft. Perhaps the biggest moment for us was to complete the first crossing of the Tasman by kayak. We did that a couple of years ago for a bunch of reasons but perhaps the most important was to challenge ourselves and experience such a pioneering adventure for a pair of kayakers.

Whether you are kayaking, canoeing or rowing . getting out in small craft is a great way to experience our waterways. Kayaks and canoes are lightweight and have shallow draft which means you can go places conventional boats can't.

But those same characteristics of being small and narrow also mean you need to take some extra care.
